This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs the manner in which you may access and use the websites, applications and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Prologue AI Inc. ("Prologue AI", "we", "us" or "our"). This Policy is incorporated by reference into, and forms part of, the Terms of Use available on prologue.ai. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Use.

Important: Prologue AI may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for any violation of this Policy, the Terms of Use, or applicable law.

1. General Compliance

You must comply with all applicable municipal, provincial, federal and international laws and regulations, including Québec's Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Criminal Code. You also agree not to encourage or facilitate others in violating this Policy.

2. Prohibited Content & Activities

You may not use the Service:

1. Illegal or Harmful Conduct

to violate any law or regulation;
to exploit or harm minors, or to create content that sexualises minors in any way;
to facilitate trafficking, harassment, intimidation or violence.

2. Misinformation & Manipulation

to generate or disseminate verifiably false information that could harm individuals, groups or democratic institutions;
to interfere with elections or political processes;
to impersonate individuals or entities or create "deepfakes" without clear disclosure and the lawful right to do so.

3. Privacy & Personal Information

to upload, input or create output containing personal information about anyone other than yourself (including photographs, audio or video) without consent, except for historical images of persons deceased for at least 100 years;
to collect, process or store sensitive personal information (e.g., financial, medical, SIN, passport numbers, children's data).

4. Sexual, Violent or Hateful Material

to produce sexually explicit content, erotic role‑play, sexual violence, incest or bestiality;
to promote hate or discriminate against protected classes;
to defame, harass or threaten individuals or groups.

5. Unfair or High‑Risk Decision‑Making

for fully automated decisions that create or modify binding legal obligations (e.g., credit denial, hiring) without human review;
to predict criminality, immigration status or other sensitive attributes for law‑enforcement or judicial purposes.

6. Medical, Legal & Professional Advice

to provide professional medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations or legal advice without appropriate credentials and disclaimers.

7. Security Violations & Technical Abuse

to transmit spam, malware or phishing content;
to probe, scan, reverse‑engineer, decompile, or breach the security of the Service or any network;
to launch or facilitate denial‑of‑service attacks or otherwise interfere with Service integrity;
to scrape or harvest content except through Prologue AI's documented API in compliance with its rate limits;
to bypass or disable any access controls or usage limits.

3. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Do not upload or generate content that infringes third‑party copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual‑property rights. If you believe material on the Service infringes your rights, follow the Copyright & Takedown Policy in our Terms of Use or email admin@prologue.ai.

4. Service Integrity & Availability

You must not attempt to undermine the reliability, performance or availability of the Service. Prologue AI reserves the right to limit API calls, bandwidth or storage usage, or to throttle or block traffic that violates this Policy or imposes undue burden on our infrastructure.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any content or activity that breaches this Policy, please report it to:

abuse@prologue.ai

We investigate all legitimate reports and will take appropriate action.

6. Updates to this Policy

We may amend this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in‑service notice at least 30 days before they take effect for registered Account holders. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
