Welcome to Prologue AI — your creative studio for AI filmmaking. Whether you're storyboarding an idea, animating a concept, or producing a full short film, Prologue gives you the tools to go from script to screen in one workspace. Let's walk through how filmmaking works.
Before you generate, fill out the Context tab as much as you can and build a Project Squad of Creative Specialists — a richer brief and focused agents mean better results, and you can work on different tasks in parallel.

Context & Project Squad
The fastest way to get great results is to set up your project brief in Context, then add Creative Specialists who can work alongside Prologue Intent — even on different tasks at the same time.
Fill out the Context tab as much as you can
Open the Context tab at the top of Studio. This is your shared project brief — the more complete it is, the better every generation and answer will be.
Fill in what you can: a short overview of the project, visual language and brand guidelines, your default aspect ratio, rules (tone, pacing, do's and don'ts), world-building links on the canvas, inspiration images and links, and files in the knowledge bank. Upload briefs, PDFs, or markdown so the squad has real reference material.
When your brief is ready, turn on Use context. Your whole squad reads this page while you chat. Leave it off while you are still drafting.
Add Creative Specialists to your Project Squad
Every project has a creative team on the right in Project Squad. Prologue Intent is always there as your main assistant. New projects also include Creative Analyst, who is great at reading your canvas and describing images, video, and audio.
Filmmaking projects also get a Lip-Sync specialist for dialogue mouth sync fixes (LipSync Pro V3, new VO, or voice change).
Add more specialists with New Creative Specialist. Give each one a name, avatar, guide prompt (who they are and how they help), and optional personal rules. Use Enhance if you want help polishing the wording.
Each specialist has their own chat thread. Click an agent to talk to them directly — your conversation with Intent stays separate.
Work on different things in parallel
Switch between agents anytime. Work keeps running in the background — a spinner shows when a specialist is busy, and a blue dot appears when there is unread activity.
That means you can divide the work: one specialist refining storyboard prompts while another explores image directions, or Intent coordinating the project while a writing-focused specialist drafts copy. You do not have to wait for one thread to finish before starting another.
Ask Prologue Intent what your specialists have been doing if you want a quick summary without opening every conversation.
The workspace
On the left, Chat — brainstorm with Prologue Intent, ask questions, or create assets from the prompt box. Type / or open the menu to browse models — image, video, audio, and more. When you pick a model, Model Settings open for generation parameters.
The fastest way to get consistency is Project Context. Store your brief, rules, visual language, and references there.
On the right, Project Squad is your AI production team. Add Creative Specialists who can work alongside Prologue Intent — on different tasks at the same time, like storyboard, research, or lipsync.
Character frames hold turnaround sheets and portraits — reuse them across shots for consistency. Environment frames capture locations and sets — anchor your scenes to consistent backdrops.
In the center, the Canvas is your infinite workspace where shots, scenes, and elements live. Use the frame navigator to move between scenes and element frames — add new scenes or frames from there. History shows every image, video, and audio generated in this project.
Step by step
Starting with a script
Filmmaking in Prologue starts with a script — write one in the Script tab or upload a PDF or text file. When the script is ready, Detect elements extracts characters, locations, and props. Create elements adds selected ones as frames on the canvas with their descriptions — generate reference images from each frame when you are ready. Build storyboard automatically creates image prompts from your script, then builds your storyboard.
Generating story elements
Turn detected characters, locations, and props into reusable element cards. Generate references with text-to-image models or upload your own so every shot stays visually consistent.
Generating storyboard
Your storyboard lives on the canvas — each scene is a row of shots you can reorder and edit. Select a shot, choose a model, and generate — image or video in one click. Click any shot card to browse its takes and pick your best version.
Follow the creation flow at the top of the canvas: Script → Elements → Storyboard → Frames → Video.
When the storyboard is ready, Video breakdown generates rich video prompts with camera, movement, performance, and audio directions from your storyboard.
Refining and iterating
Hover any shot on the canvas and choose Edit to open video tools — upscale, extend, lipsync, reframe, and more. All your edits stack as new takes — nothing gets lost.
Visualise your timeline
Drag to reorder shots on the timeline, preview your sequence, and compare takes before you commit to an export.
Export timeline
When you are ready, export your assembled sequence as video, download a mixed audio stem, or hand off a full package to Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Pro Tools.
That's Prologue filmmaking: script, generate, refine, and export. For multi-scene films, lock character consistency with elements before generating many shots. After dialogue shots, check lipsync (mouth moves with audio, stays closed when silent). You're ready — bring your story to life.
